The Beginning

I desire to gain a better of understanding of the work place most successful adults participate in daily. I am currently interning at a non-profit and I am amazed by how they stay operating, and all the moving parts that they require to become and stay successful.

I do not want to take this internship lightly. My capacity is larger than standing in the corner awaiting the next order for a coffee run. I will treat this opportunity as a tool for my future, for that truly is what it is capable of being if you dedicate your mind and energy. I will shape myself into a sponge if you will, through this process I would like to absorb all the knowledge and skill given to me.

The opportunity of interning in a field that you are passionate about allows you to preview first hand what it would be like to have a full time career in that environment. This gives you a better idea of the career path or major you soon will pursue. You are also able to gain useful skills such as, time management, communication, and work ethic.
